Cabin 452 Kilefjorden in Evje & Hornnes municipality.
Setesdalen, Evje and Hornnes municipalities are known as a very interesting and exciting area for mineral exploration. The district is also known for its many mines. Some are still available for pulikum. The cabin is located by Kilefjorden, good starting point for fishing and nature experiences near Otra. In the older days, the railway route ran below the cabin. Now local road into the cabin area which is located a little south of Kilefjorden camping. The municipalities of Evje, Froland and Iveland were well known in Europe as major suppliers of timber and minerals. This has inspired local businesses to create and prepare the historic Evje mineral park. Shot into the rock you will find mine passages, historical material and a fairytale realm of minerals. This park is known worldwide and generates many cruise calls in the port of Kristiansand. Just north of Evje center we find Troll active, a rafting center with many activities. Troll also operates the climbing forest close to the Mineral Park. Cabin 452 contains a hallway. Solar cell, small 12 v. cooler. Laundry room and biological toilet. Bedroom with 2 x bunk bed, sleeps 4 persons. 2 sofa beds in the living room. Pillows and duvets included. Living room with wood stove (included), lounge and chairs. Kitchenette with all necessary equipment for self-catering. Gas flare x 3 for boiling etc. Water to wall in summer. We have a small pump house down towards the river, but it's easier to go and fetch water right in the river.  Direct access to large terrace with gas grill and summer furniture. In the small garden behind the cottage you will find the tool shed. Under the cabin by the front door is the wood, dry and good. From the terrace you have fantastic views to Kilefjorden, and a nice bathing area close by. Otra comes from the top of Setesdalen and runs through the entire valley on its way to Kristiansand. Along the way it forms several beautiful fjords. Best known are probably the Byglandsfjord and Kilefjorden. Welcome to a good Norwegian nature cabin in beautiful surroundings. Only a short hour from Kristiansand.

Booking periods in high seasons are Fri-Fri.  Sun-Sun or Friday to Sunday which is weekend. Easter except. Winter holidays can be divided into half weeks. Due to the price periods, the invoice at the time of booking will not show the correct price. This will be adjusted when the invoice is approved administratively here, therefore sent invoice from the system will be considered as a draft.
