Bright, cozy little cabin right by the river. Rowing boat and summer life, fishing and swimming are keywords here. Many nice swimming opportunities. Fantastic views from the living room and terrace over the valley, the water and the majestic mountains of Ljosland. In winter, it is approx. 20 minutes by car to Ljosland Alpine Center and groomed cross-country ski trails. Heated shelter and lovely location in Fjellheimen Ljosland.

Great, small cabin right by Brelandsvannet. The cabin is bright and pleasant and suitable for 1-2 families up to 8 people. Beautiful views from windows and from the terrace facing the river give a fairytale beautiful majestic leather print and a pleasant cottage atmosphere. It is only a few meters to Brelandsvannet from the house. On the ground floor there are 2 bedrooms with a single bed and 1 bedroom with a double bed. The living room and kitchen are built in one with an open kitchen solution. The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering. You can shop in Kyrkjebygd, which is the center of Åseral. Gas refrigerator and stove. The living room has a lounge and a flat screen (no signal). But is intended for your own games and equipment if desired. A good wood-burning stove and dining table with 8 seats and access to the terrace with a fantastic view of Brelandsvannet.
On the second floor there is additionally 1 bedroom with a double bed and a single bed.

A toilet in a cabin is a separator toilet. The guest must change the bag to the toilet as needed and always upon departure. The cabin has a 12 volt solar cell system that provides power for light and charging of mobile phones directly from the control panel. Bring your own usb cable with a large head. The heating of the cabin is done with a wood stove that is in the living room. Firewood may be brought. Possibly purchased before arrival in the village.

The service water for the cabin is collected with 10 liter buckets straight from the river and emptied to the container in the shed. Connect gas to the water heater so that it heats up water for the shower and kitchen. In winter, the container must be emptied upon departure. Drinking water is recommended to be brought. The vacuum cleaner works with a generator. There is a 13-foot rowing boat at the beach that can be used for free. Remember to bring your own life jackets. The boat is used with your own responsibility and risk. Very important that the boat is pulled well up on the land after use and fastened securely. The pier by the cabin is not in use, if it is in the country. There are a lot of sheep in the area that roam loose. Cozy to hear the sound of bells and see cute little sheep and lambs. There is generally a lot of game and animals in Åseral municipality, so if you are lucky, you will also see moose, which there are a lot of in Åseral.
There is a little poor phone coverage at the cabin, but normally you can get a little signal from time to time with SMS, if the phone is still inside the shed.

The cabin is located near a busy road, but is otherwise beautifully located by the water and with the magnificent nature as a frame around it all right by the river. Swimming, rowing boat and summer are keywords here. Great nature that is right outside the door and calls for mountain hikes, berry picking etc. A trip with a rowboat along the river is lovely. The garage by the cabin is not included in the rental. Dogs are not allowed in this cabin
It is about 20 km to Ljosland. A nice mountain destination. There you will find miles of groomed cross-country trails, alpine center and lots of hiking trails in the summer.

About 10 km to Åseral kyrkjebygda center, where you will find the nearest shop, gas station, bank and Minne cultural center.

Åseral municipality is known for its beautiful mountain nature, many fishing lakes and many hiking and hiking trails. It is possible to buy a fishing license for the lakes at Ljosland and several lakes in Åseral
